Usually on my day off, we go practice and have a hike in the forest. Today I just couldn’t bear to leave Ruby alone, so I tried to spend as much time as I could with her. This isn’t good for championness. But just seemed like a better thing to do. Ruby can’t walk or really move at all without pain, she only stays calm if she lays in one spot without moving. Her doctors are trying to figure out what to try next. Probably Gabopentin, I know some of my friends have told me about this. I hope that it helps Ruby.

Sending lots of healing vibes Ruby's way. I'm just miserable when I know my dog's are in pain. Hope she is feeling better soon. My rescue girl was severely lame for almost a month a year or so ago, finally, one of the meds did the trick and she started improving. I really limit her activity now (bad shoulder).

Hugs to Ruby. Haley was on Gabapectin for a while when she wouldn't walk…I don't think it helped her…but it didn't harm her either. Hope it works for Ruby.
