Ok, I am somewhat mortified by what human beings will do. On the other hand, the coyote hanging off the back end of the pickup shows a level of creativity and humor that touched me.
Becoming a veggitarian is looking mighty fine right about now.

I was hooting so loudly at Crappy Taxidermy that the dog heaved himself out of his bed to see what was going on.
A few years ago I worked in National Museums of Scotland which had a taxidermy department. We got almost used to meeting taxidermists at the lift in the mornings with roadkill in carriers. They also had a very good relationship with Edinburgh Zoo. Must stop now. All my favourite Museum stories are about taxidermy.
I couldn't stomach more than 2 pages. Really. My jaw just hung open the whole time with "oh my gaw…" repeated (try it with jaw hanging open) between grunts of disbelief, face screwed up in disgust. Try all that, now you know partly why I think I sprained my sense of normality. This was my last stop before bed and now I'm afraid to fall asleep. Bleah. But it does, in some grotesque way that we really don't want to think about too hard, seem like a TSD sort of thing.
I think I could dig up my 4 years dead and buried JRT, spruce her up a bit, maybe add a little filler to the really not there any more parts, then she would be ready for the pages of Crappy Taxidermy.

While on the surface it's an amusing website, it is really nothing but ripped off photos from other websites and people with no permission or credit given. Which sucks! If you want a more ethical source for these things, you might want to check out the "Bad Taxidermy" Flickr group:
